Michael Kmetoni graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Science and a post graduate Masters of physiotherapy. Michael has also completed his Masters in Sport and Exercise physiotherapy at La Trobe University. This has shown that Michael displays the clinical expertise and knowledge and has received his APA physiotherapist Title which is a formal recognition of a highly developed level of competency in his area of practice.
Michael has had a passion for sport from a very young age. He began playing soccer at the age of 5, as a teenager he went on to play at a professional level which eventually led to living overseas for two years to play at an elite level.
Michael has also been awarded a membership of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (MACP) and is recognised as a highly advanced practitioner in his selected discipline of Sport and exercise.
Michael has trained in various martial arts for over 10 years and is a current 1st-degree black belt in Senshin Ryu. Michael has a passion for treating sport related injuries and has worked with athletes from a multitude of different spots including, Ice hockey, karate, Brazilian jujitsu, kickboxing, dance, football, tennis, gridiron and soccer.
Michael is currently the head physio for St George FC soccer club, St George City FA juniors and UNSW Raiders Gridiron football club.
He has experience in musculoskeletal and sports injuries and has a passion for Knees, Hips, Groins, ankles and ACL rehabilitation.
